About
In a time of rapid AI advancements, it is crucial to equip students, educators, and researchers with the skills to critically assess AI applications. CVEinAI promotes an interdisciplinary approach, enabling participants to:
- Engage in Critical Virtual Exchange (CVE) to enhance AI literacy
- Develop digital and soft skills through collaborative virtual learning
- Identify and mitigate biases in AI systems
- Integrate Virtual Exchange methodologies into Higher Education curricula
Our objective
- Establish CVEs that connect European and Sub-Saharan African Higher Education Institutions.
- Provide training for educators on integrating Virtual Exchange into their courses.
- Enable students and researchers to critically assess AI applications.
- Promote ethical and inclusive AI practices across disciplines.
Expected impact
CVEinAI aims to make a lasting impact in AI literacy and critical thinking. The project will:
- Engage 50 Higher Education teaching and support staff in CVE design
- Train 100 students and PhD candidates as facilitators
- Reach 2400 students through CVE modules and online facilitated discussions
- Foster collaboration among 21 partners from 13 countries
- Develop open-access AI literacy resources for global use
